Thus Spake Prometheus

So in a weird-cool turn of events the team at Prometheus Dreaming decided to use my poem Morning Commute in their Thus Spake Prometheus series.

A strange feeling as I never thought about hearing one of my poems read aloud by someone else, always in my own head, in my own voice. However, they did a great job with it. Read by Brian Liebforth, who did a fantastic job. I was curious to know if the inflections and tone would be translated in others reading and it was.

You can follow the link above to hear it at their homepage. Or here to listen on the YouTube page. Thanks again to David and the team for the unique opportunity.

Hey guys, check it out my first ever publication! Thanks so much to Brian at Vita Brevis for giving my poem the wonderful platform and opportunity. I’m still having a tough time believing it. And honestly it couldn’t have happened without all of your guys’ support as well, so thank you to everyone, your support really means a lot

The Conversation Artist

To be read in the voice of Charlie Sheen:

I’ve given up the writ-

ten word, given in to

the limitations and mirrored

reality. so that i can focus

on the art of conversation.

like me it leaves no trace

at least no paper trail

no more trying to be

published, polished

no more trying to be

what i think They want.

Is there any other art form

in this day and age that could

have a more profound effect?

A conversation can’t be

commercialized, and sold,

it’s not profitable, unless

you’re in on it.

A conversation is love

an art form that is

the truest expression of life.
