A Thousand Lifetimes

I’ve lived a thousand lifetimes in just one day, and resisted the act of living every step of the way.

High winds blow through Cedar tips they don’t resist just bend and point to the moonless sky.

While you or I would split because thoughts are an act of resistance.

I made up a thousand different images of me, all of which confine my reality

and resisted the act of living every step of the way.
